Fat Loss - 7 Top Appetite Busting Tips
If you are trying to maintain a healthy body weight or even trying to lose weight, over eating can never help the cause.
Controlling ones appetite is a huge problem for many people. You do everything right for a week and lose weight. Then you skip your diet plan for a week and put on those extra pounds. Certain appetite surges can cause overeating, and you can put on weight very quickly. With the added pound many people get demotivated and give up and lose all of the progress that they worked so hard for.
It does not have to be like this. There are some simple techniques to avoid over eating. I have listed 7 appetite busting ideas that will help to maintain a good healthy body weight.
1. Health Snacks: This may sound odd, but if you eat throughout the day, you will be able to control your appetite. Many people do not eat throughout the day. To compensate they overeat during dinner and have unnecessary calories at the end of the day. Snacking and having small meals is a good way to avoid this.
2. Water: Drinking water throughout the day is a perfect way to stop overeating, once your stomach is full with water, you will feel less hungry and won't over eat. This will definitely help.
3. Leafy Green Vegetables: The next time when you feel like eating, try having some leafy vegetables like lettuce, cabbage, kale, or spinach. These have very few calories. Try to make leafy vegetables a part of every meal. Having vegetables will make you feel full and reduce your calorie intake.
4. Fibre Tablets: When you have fibre your body will feel full faster and for longer. You should use this to your advantage. Grab some fibre tablets from the local health store and try it out. You can trick you brain into thinking you have had a full meal; instead you take only a fibre tablet with water.
5. Exercise: This is no secret at all, exercise can be a perfect way of controlling your appetite, exercise helps you burn calories. Your body converts the stored body-fats into blood sugar. This helps raise the blood sugar level and suppresses your food craving
6. Feel Rested: Getting enough sleep is an important part of controlling your appetite. When you're tired, you tend to feel that afternoon slump. To compensate you eat because your body needs the energy. Getting enough sleep each night is important to appetite control.
7. Realize Hunger for what it is: You need to control yourself, sometime people might feel that slight hunger pang, and they immediately jump for that bag of chips. You need to control yourself and realise that every time you feel hungry, you don't have to eat.
