Nothing is quite as devastating to a woman as realizing that her husband has been unfaithful. For most women it comes as a bitter and unexpected shock. If you believe that your marriage is built on a foundation of honesty and that your vows are unbreakable, it's almost unbearable to consider that your husband has been intimate with another woman. Most women have a deep sense of intuition when it comes to their spouse and can automatically recognize small clues that something may be amiss.

There can be loads of different signs that your husband is being unfaithful, some of these may appear obvious, but others are much more subtle. Anyone who suspects that there may be another woman involved in her husband's life must learn to recognize the signs of infidelity, and then take any measures that she thinks are necessary, which may be ending the marriage or rebuilding their broken trust.

In this article I'm going to go over five signs that you should look out for if you think your husband is cheating on you, do not ignore these signs. Before I begin I must point out how important it is that you pay attention to any change in your husband's behaviour, which may mean that he is cheating on you.

As your husband stopped wearing his wedding ring? This is a common sign that he is cheating. When questioned he may reply that he has simply forgot to put on or has misplaced it. If your husband has always worn his wedding ring, there is more than likely something else going on.

One sign that should be obvious for any woman is a major change in your husband's works schedule. If he is always worked a normal nine to five job, and he has recently needed to work late on a regular basis, this is not a good sign. He may also be attending conferences out of town more often than usual. Make sure you keep a close eye on his phone records particularly if he has a work mobile and make note of any unusual numbers.

You should keep a close eye on your finances, and pay particular attention to husband's credit card or cheque account. Most married couples have a shared bank account and it would be relatively easy to keep an eye on any new expenses. If your husband has recently received a credit card in his own name and can give you no good explanation why, you can take this as more evidence that he is hiding something from you.

Does your husband normally take the family car to work? If he does this in normally cling that on a regular occasion? I know I don't. If your husband is having an affair there's a good chance that he will take his new mistress in the family car at some point. If you notice him cleaning the car more often you should be suspicious that he is trying to clean up any evidence he may have left behind, such as lipstick or make up belonging to his new lady. He may also take out all the children's toys and anything belonging to you so that his new mistress does not know that he has a family.

The last and often most telling sign that your husband isn't being faithful will be that he becomes less talkative and seems lost in thought. Many men feel a strong sense of guilt when they have wandered outside the marriage for intimacy. Although you can ask him what's on his mind, don't be at all surprised if he says it's nothing at all.

It a hard pill to swallow when you recognize the signs that your husband is committing adultery. As difficult as it is though, it's important to get to the bottom of the matter to confirm your suspicions. Once you've done that, you'll be ready to make a decision on what is best for you
