Understanding The Concept Of Mind Over Matter:
The ability of the human mind to influence matter is what is meant by the phrase 'mind over matter'. We have heard this phrase repeated several times perhaps by our parents and teachers while they motivated us to reach greater heights with studies and during examinations against all hindrances. But on a more serious note, the power of the mind is so strong that it can influence ay matter that it so desires, be it tangible or intangible.
Psychokinesis is a term which is very closely associated with the phrase 'mind over matter'. Infact this phrase can be said to be the word meaning for the term in its extreme. Thus, if you can move a chair or a table by the sheer power of your thoughts or mind, then you can be termed a psychokinetic.
First coined as Telekinesis during the 19th century, this paranormal phenomenon was researched and experimented upon by parapsychologists in order to explain the extent of the power of mind over matter. The term was first denoted to explain the mysterious movement of objects by spirits or ghosts. Later on when the role of human mind was speculated to be behind these, the term psychokinesis was born.
This extreme form of mind over matter can be measured in two different ways. Firstly, the micro psychokinesis refers to minute atomic changes in matter that only a microscope or any such scientific instrument can pick up. Secondly, Macro psychokinesis involves the movement of large matter visible in the normal sense of sight.
Moving forward from the extreme level of mind over matter, it should also be noted that this plays a significant role in the doctrines of spirituality and philosophy. Moreover, with the new age spirituality, responsibility assumption is something where the concept of mind over matter gains huge significance.
According to the responsibility assumption, the sole responsibility of your future and what you make of your life lies on you. It prophesizes the concept that your future is a product of your thoughts and the onus or responsibility of your destiny or fate is only on you. Recent spiritual awakening in the last decade also has laws such as Laws of Attraction, etc talking in the same direction.
The Laws of attraction states that if you have an object of desire which you want to see manifested in your life, then direct your entire attention, energy and focus on it and feel the energy waves leaving you and charging up the vision. If you have complete faith that it will happen, and rid your mind of all negative thoughts in order to receive the event when it manifests actually, you will see that you can create your own destiny with your mind power.
It can be concluded that be it moving physical matter or manifesting desired events in one's life, almost anything and everything can be controlled, created, influenced or changed in the way you want to, with the power of your mind. With the tools of your thoughts, concentration, energy or faith, and a belief in the phrase 'mind over matter' you can create your own destiny.

Expressing Anger In Productive Ways
Anger is emotion that everybody has in varying degrees, and one thing we all do is express anger. The problem is however that we all do not express anger in ways that are good for us and the people around us. This article talks about the good and the bad parts of expressing anger, and how you can do it so that your anger is not a problem.
Three ways of expression
Anger is typically expressed in three different ways. Some people express it outwardly; others people inwardly, and still other control and calm it down.
Outward expression is when you scream, make insults or threats, become sarcastic and/or become violent.
This outward expression is not a good way to handle anger and causes a number of different kinds of problems. The most prominent problems are that your anger levels go up and when you use this outward form of expression, you tend to create situations where you cause other people to react angrily toward you.
Anger that is expressed inwardly is different but it too is dangerous. Inwardly expressed anger leads to the formation of rage and major illnesses like high blood pressure and depression.
Controlled anger is another form of anger expression. This is a better way to express anger. It is better because the chances of you getting sick from it are not as high. This form is also not likely to have another person react with anger toward you.
How To Express Anger Correctly…
If you want to get into the habit of expressing anger in a useful way, you will need to get into controlling yourself between the time that you start to feel angry and the time that you respond to your anger.
You will be able to find numerous anger management strategies that will help you to do this, but as a recommendation, I suggest you do two things. First you should stop what you are doing, and then take some deep breaths and count to ten or more than ten until you are calm and ready to give a gentle answer.
Secondly, if you look at yourself and can see a problem, or if you are getting ready to lose something that is important to you then you should do an anger management class. When surveyed, these classes are reported as being more than 95% successful in changing attitude and behavior. Another good thing about them is they work in short amounts of time. Two months is enough time for you to achieve satisfactory results.

How to Pray Over Prophetic Words
Oftentimes people ask me what to do when they receive prophetic words from the Lord for someone else. Do they share it with the person to whom the Lord is speaking about prophetically? Do they keep it to themselves and pray? Do they do nothing?
You aren't the only one who has asked me this question. Many people hear the voice of the Lord and aren't sure what to do with what they've heard. When it comes to when to release prophetic words, there are a few guidelines that might help you.
Pray over the prophetic word Knowledge is to be applied. So doing nothing with prophetic words is not the right response. You could be holding the key of knowledge that someone needs to breakthrough. You could be holding the key to intercession that would help a nation. When you get prophetic words, make no mistake, you should take action. Faith without works is dead (James 2:20).
Next, let me say this: When it doubt, pray it out. When you aren't sure what to do with prophetic words, just pray about it. You'll never go wrong by praying as a first step. Perhaps the Lord wants you to enter into intercession based on the revelation in the prophetic words so that He can bring change to a situation or help a person in need. Prayer could lead you to additional instructions from the Lord.
Should I reveal the prophetic word? Are you still wondering if you are supposed to release the prophetic words? It's wise of you to make sure before opening your mouth and prophesying. Just because you have knowledge doesn't mean you should reveal it. Ask God and then wait on Him instead of thinking too much about what to do with the prophetic words. God speaks to you through your spirit, not your mind. Carnal reasoning can cause you to make the wrong decision about whether to share prophetic words.
Your best move is to seek the Lord before releasing prophetic words, especially when it's of a sensitive nature. Prophecy is supposed to edify, comfort and exhort (1 Corinthians 14:3). If prophetic words are going to upset or embarrass someone in public, it's probably not the Holy Ghost telling you to share the prophecy. If the Holy Spirit has revealed a weakness or sin in someone's life through a prophetic insight, then wisdom dictates you intercede for that person.
So, again, when you get prophetic words, you first response should be to inquire of the Lord, "Father, what do you want me to do with this knowledge? Do I share it with the person or pray on their behalf?" The same Lord that gave you the prophetic words will tell you what to do with it. The Lord will give you an unction to prophesy. Without that unction, we should watch and pray and wait for the Lord's next instruction.
Jennifer LeClaire is a teacher and prophet who has written several books on prophetic ministry, like "A Prophet's Heart" and "The Heart of the Prophetic". 8 More Useful Hints and Tips on Self Esteem Help
Here are 8 tips about self esteem help.
I hope that you find them useful…as it's taken our researchers some time to find them all!
I hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed collating them. You can never know enough about Self Esteem Help, can you?
Say something good about yourself. Right now. Yes right now as you read this say something good about yourself. GO! List what you are good at. Make a list of all the things you are really good at.
Count your blessings. Focus on what you have rather than what you don't have. Absence of our desires will only bring discontentment and disappointment that will only waste our time. Instead, be thankful and appreciative with all the blessings we receive.
Be detached from the outcome. They say that life is like a Ferris Wheel; sometimes, you're on the top, and sometimes at the bottom. This means that there will be times in our lives where some things would not turn out according to what we want them to be. Don't be annoyed if you don't get what you desire. However, do your best in everything you do. Only, don't get too attached on the probable results that may only cause disappointments and upsets.
Make a decision. Is there something you have been putting off. Deciding releases feelings of anxiety. Its the indecision that causes the problem!
One is not required to live by "I have to" or "I must" – everything we do is a result of a decisiona choice. Choices made in our younger years and choices made this morning when we woke up. Everything is a choice: to obey or disobey; to study or not study; to eat right or not eat right. When making these choices, we control everything about our lives including our future and our level of self-awareness. When you see a wise, confident, beautiful person – it's not luck, it's choice. Once you realize and accept this, only then can you begin to become who it is you want to be. All of us are given giftsspecial gifts and talents. Through self-discovery, we are able to identify these gifts. If we pay attention to who we are and what makes us happy, we will make the right choices to set our own future.
Have trust in other people. Although it may seem difficult and risky to give trust to just any people, when you believe in them or confident on what they are doing for you, doubts and negative judgments on them will be unnecessary. Also, it will bring harmonious relationships between you and your colleagues.
Relax Your Mind. Just for 5 seconds to start with. Stop, breathe deeply and relax.
Ask for guidance. Only God knows what we will be having on the day ahead of us. He will surely appreciate a few minutes of praying and asking for guidance from Him. Also, have faith on Him that He is more than willing to grant our requests as long as it is for our own good. With God as our guide, we don't have any reason not to say and believe in the thought that I can do this. I can make it through this day. Nothing is impossible. After all, God is with me.
Well…there were your 8 tips. I hope that you enjoyed them.
Even though I have only shared 8 Self Esteem Help and Self Confidence tips with you, feel free to share this article with anyone who you may feel will benefit.

Tony Evans' Evang-elastic Gospel
In the 1970's a superhero named Stretch Armstrong lined toy store shelves. This toy muscle-man was made of some pliable, rubber-like stuff and was about twelve inches tall. Small as he was Stretch Armstrong could still be stretched far beyond his designed shape.
Stretching a toy beyond its intended shape is one thing, but doing the same with foundational, biblical doctrines is dangerous. You see, when misinformed Christian teachers stretch the gospel doctrine of grace beyond biblical boundaries the theological Stretch Armstrong of antinomianism raises its misshapen head. Martin Luther originated the term "antinomianism" to describe grace-stretching teaching. In this regard A. W. Tozer wrote:
Advocates of antinomianism…start right, but allow themselves to be carried beyond what is written by a slave-like adherence to undisciplined logic. It is always dangerous to isolate a truth and then push it to its limit without regard to other truths (Paths To Power).
Antinomian teachers today grab the doctrine of salvation by grace through faith and yank its unassuming appendages in every direction. They pull, twist and stretch until saved by grace means that obedience and holiness are an optional to final salvation. Its a good idea to obey according to the antinomian apologist, but obedience to Christ is not imperative for the sake of final salvation. Consider the popular Tony Evans on the topic:
"I'm a Christian. I've accepted Christ as my Savior and been born again, but I use illegal drugs. I've tried to quit many times, but I always fall back into the habit. I guess I'm just a drug addict." …this person is identifying himself as a drug addict because he's doing the things addicts do. He has confused his performance with his identity. He has convinced himself, "I do what drug addicts do, so I must be a drug addict." No, he's a Christian with a serious drug problem (Free At Last, p. 28).
Committed Christians may fall into sin, but a carnal Christian bathes in it. He has the mindset, motivation and methodology of sin…First of all, the carnal Christian is a genuine Christian. He has received Christ as Savior, but refuses to submit to Him and serve Him as Lord. Christ is not allowed to occupy the throne of a carnal life. It is possible to be on your way to heaven but be of no earthly good because you compromise your faith (Booklet: The Carnal Christian).
Antinomian preachers use scriptural language, but they push the scriptures past their purposed meaning. Worldly Immoral? "Don't fret," they promise, "your salvation is never at risk." The popular belief that insists that Christians are accepted by grace while being disobedient in spite of grace screams, "Antinomianism!"
From Satan's promise: "ye shall not surely die" in Genesis chapter 3 to the false prophets who declared "Peace, peace" to sinners in Jeremiah 6:14 – antinomian promises deceived the unrepentant. And from Paul's warning about using liberty as an "occasion to the flesh" to those who changed "the grace of our God into lasciviousness" in the book of Jude – antinomianism distorted the gospel. And from James' "faith without works" to the condemned doctrines of the Baalamites and Jezebel in Revelation chapter 2, the scriptures wail like a siren against antinomianism. On the topic John Wesley warned:
Beware of Antinomianism this may steal upon you in a thousand forms, so that you cannot be too watchful against it. Take heed of everything, whether in principle or practice, which has any tendency thereto. Even that great truth, that 'Christ is the end of the law,' may betray us into it, if we do not consider that he has adopted every point of the moral law, and grafted it into the law of love (Wesley: A Plain Account of Christian Perfection, p. 52).
Today's evangelical Christian scene is replete with preaches who seem to have a zeal for God, but sadly, their zeal is not according to understanding. They howl, "Carnal? Don't worry your salvation is assured!" "Saved by works," they sneer, if some servant of the Lord insists that in order to be saved all must "pursue holiness because without it no one will see the Lord" (Heb 12:14). This, the lettered elite of modern, evangelical Christianity do to the exposing of their vibrant, antinomian colors.
