The Beneficial Colon Cleanse Products

by Dr Pam AP Jun

I have been suffering from fatigue and general sluggishness lately. My doctor does not think it is any serious underlying causes.

His only advice was the usual stuff about limiting my intake of caffeine, eating healthier food, and getting enough good rest.

The problem is that I already do those things, but haven't noticed any improvements in my condition at all. I figured it wouldn't hurt to consult with an expert in alternative medicine, so I made an appointment last weekend.

He suggested that I go through a body detoxification — not from drugs or alcohol, of course, but from all the harmful toxins that I've consumed in processed foods over the years.

He then recommended several colon cleaanse for me to try.

I have never used colon cleanse products before, so I wanted to do a bit more research on my own before going out and buying anything like this.

Specifically, I wanted to find out if these colon cleanse products would truly be beneficial for my body, and whether or not I'd have to worry about any unknown side effects.

I was looking for information about how to do the detox procedure, since I wasn't sure what would be involved.

I've spent the last few weeks checking different alternative medicine websites to read about why periodical cleansing is helpful.

There are hundreds of sites out there that address all the different aspects of detoxification and cleansing, so I was able to find a lot of excellent information about the general process, as well as details about what the over-the-counter colon cleanse products actually do.

For example, I learned that residue from food toxins can build up at various spots along your colon's wall, which can then cause irritation, inflammation, and reduced function.

Furthermore, the residue collects excess mucus and additional waste, thereby becoming a prime breeding ground for bacteria.

The bacteria can cause a whole host of physical ailments, including the fatigue I've been suffering from.

Good colon cleansing products can remove this waste, and resolve the health issues stemming from those harmful buildup.

After reading this information, I definitely wanted to try colon cleanse products for myself. I pulled out the list of the recommendations that the specialist had given to me, and looked those items up online.

I found that they were indeed highly rated by the users, so I decided to go ahead and order two different ones. The website I went to offered full cleansing kits for a big discount and also free shipping, which made my decision even easier.

My colon cleansing products are now on the way and should be here within the next couple of days. I can't wait to see what kind of beneficial effects they'll have on my body after the total cleansing!

What Everybody Should Know… About How to Use the Law of Attract

by Dick Ingersoll

There is a lot of buzz around the Law of Attraction these days. The massive hit movie/book The Secret took the world by storm. As Oprah jumped on board, the entire nation became acquainted with the Law of Attraction and the secrets of manifestation. The Secret did a great job of introducing the law and showing us how we generally work against ourselves. However, many people were left wondering "how exactly do I use the law of attraction?"

There are three major factors in learning to use this powerful law to manifest the things that we want in our lives. The first are our thoughts. The things that we think about and hold constantly in our thoughts become part of our reality. However, most of us are keeping negative thoughts in our minds on a daily basis. How do we change that?

We need to begin watching our thoughts. The easiest way to do this is to note how we are feeling. When we are feeling good, we are thinking thoughts that are affirming the things that we want in our life and sending positive manifestation energy out into the universe. When we are feeling bad, that is a red flag that we are holding thoughts that are not in our best interest.

This brings us to the second important factor, our emotions. Emotions, which are triggered by the thoughts we are currently thinking, are the actual energy that give an intent (or thought) the power to manifest. By noting when we are feeling bad and then changing our thinking, we will begin to change the overall energy surrounding us. As we become more focused on thinking positive, prosperous thoughts, we will see the world around us change to adapt to our new perceptions of ourselves. In this way will our desires begin to manifest.

The third and final ingredient in the mental process of attraction is our ability to take action once an opportunity presents itself. In a lot of instances, our manifestations will come about as good fortune. If we work on manifesting prosperity, there may be an unexpected business circumstance rendered to us. If we act on that, we will fare well. Whenever we do not act on it, we will manifest nothing. So we must be inclined to pursue whatever opportunities that are presented to us for our manifestations.

In conclusion, when we're finished sending out our intentions into the cosmos, we must be patient and unconcerned. Do not focus unceasingly on whether or not this will work out, how long it will require, or any additional uncertain thoughts. This sort of thought demolishes the work that we have performed, and further impresses further doubtfulness. Then again, an unhurried, set-apart plan of attack will enable our intentions to manifest, and will instill more trust in the technique, which will aid things in proceeding quicker next time. No wonder beliefs about the Law of Attraction are very discordant!

Hopefully you've something to act upon now. Best of luck and may all your desires come to you!

Male Hair Loss: Getting the Facts Straight

by Irina Thorton

We don't have to deny it. It's natural to be concerned about whether or not we will eventually lose our hair like some of the people we know. You may even already be showing some signs of male hair loss. Don't panic, your condition is probably normal and non-life threatening but you don't necessarily have to live with it.

Male Pattern Baldness

Although there are many types of hair loss, it has been discovered that around 95% of hair loss conditions are categorized under androgenetic alopecia. We often think that male hair loss begins when a man reaches adulthood. It is possible however for some to begin having the condition during the teen years. The first sign of thinning and male hair loss is often observed in the temple areas. In time though, true male hair loss may eventually result in complete bald areas typically on the crown or top of the head.

Cause

From the term androgenetic alone, we can see that it comes from "andro" which means hormones and "genetic" which means genes. This means that most male hair loss cases can be inherited hormone initiated conditions. Men who suffer from hair loss actually inherit a certain sensitivity to the hormonal reactions that lead to male hair loss.

When the male hormone testosterone comes into contact with the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, the pattern of hair loss begins. Testosterone is then converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is DHT that gets into hair follicles and binds with receptors. It will then begin to hamper the function of hair follicles, causing them to shrink and preventing them from producing new healthy hair strands.

Common Treatments

Surgical procedures are the most effective kinds of treatment. A surgeon may have to move some hair strands from a well covered area to the bald spot. Other procedures include reducing the bald scalp area or increasing the area of the scalp which still has hair. Depending on the kind of surgery you may have to undergo, your doctor may have to look into your suitability as a surgery candidate. Factors that may affect your suitability for male hair loss surgery include your age, type of hair and hair color.

Another option would be to take medications. A popular kind of medication blocks DHT or 5-alpha reductase. As some users would point out though, some medications may produce side effects and hair growth may not be so quick. The quality of hair growth is also not always as desired.

Alternative Treatment

One alternative to male hair loss surgery and medication is supplementation. Men can now take natural, herbal supplements to promote hair growth. Natural products are a good choice if you do not want to spend too much on surgery or if you do not want to experience the side effects of medication. A lot of these natural products also function as DHT and enzyme blockers, thus effectively reducing male hair loss. Natural ingredients such as saw palmetto have been known as effective blockers. Another plus factor to natural supplementation is that you also get a lot of nourishment for your scalp and hair.

Remember that you need not despair over male hair loss. It's just a matter of looking for the right product.

Lots of women think cohosh is the ultimate herbal remedy. They use both the blue and black versions for coping with the pain associated with their periods. Anti Aging Products For Your Skin

by Kay Brown

This group of beauty products generally works by enabling the synthesis of collagen, the main protein of connective tissue in animals and the most abundant in our body; collagen is so abundant, it makes up about a quarter of the total protein content of structural protein found in skin.

This area of anti-ageing treatments is connected to another group of products that help people to look young; known as antioxidants, they are the body's method of slowing down the ageing process.Vanity plays a large part in the use of popular anti-ageing skin care products and treatments; as we are living far longer than previous generations it is a good idea to look after your physical appearance.

You probably know many anti-oxidants by name, including vitamin C, the use of which is still, even now, hotly debated in the science and nutrition community. The main problem when using any skin care treatments which use vitamin C is that oxidization can occur as soon as they have contact with the air.

To get around this some skin care treatments are based on derivatives of vitamin C, which are more stable and less expensive. Unfortunately the anti-oxidant products used to replace vitamin C are not as effective but as vitamin E and lipoic acid can both have the same effect; this is not too much of a problem.

Found in human blood, vitamin E is not only an antioxidant but is designed to increase the immune system's resistance to disease and can also help ward off cancer. On the other hand, lipoic acid or alpha-lipoic acid is necessary for energy production which keeps us alive; it is in every human cell and another function is to repair skin damage caused by the normal ageing process.

The use of plants has not been overlooked either with many types able to provide essences called phytochemicals which have proved successful in anti-ageing skin care products. A secondary but more important use of phytochemicals is the effect they have on the prevention of breast, prostate and colon cancers.

Other vitamins from the B group are also used in anti-ageing skin care like vitamins B5, B6 and B12 for example. And they are having positive results. But the field of anti-ageing skin care products is vast and needs a great deal more research.

There is no doubt that what has been learned so far is only a small part of the jigsaw puzzle but research is moving forward rapidly and it is only a matter of time before a new generation of products becomes available. Hopefully, these challenges will get resolved in due course and better and cheaper anti-ageing skin care products will be produced.

We must not forget however, that there are many more natural methods we can all use to reduce the signs of ageing on a regular basis. Natural methods are known, but few people actually follow them; what proportion of the population actually eats healthily, takes plenty of exercise, drink sufficient water and obtain restful and regular sleep?
