Healthy, Wealthy and Wise
If you're healthy, then you are wealthy indeed. Health isn't something you can buy, but it's something you can influence, it's something you can nurture. But do we give our health much thought?
When we are growing up, most of us don't give our health any thought whatsoever. When something goes wrong though, we soon sit up and take notice, but by that time it may be too late.
Diet is somebody else's concern when we are young, we don't worry ourselves about it. All we are interested in is getting more of what we like – which is usually candy, cake and cookies washed down with copious quantities of cola.
Only when we reach our teenage years do we take more note of the way we look. Now we notice if we're fatter than our friends. It starts to matter.
Parents often have a difficult job convincing their children to eat green vegetables. At an early age, we are not the least interested in what is good for us. We rebel against what we don't like, and in far too many instances parents lose out to headstrong children. The resulting diet in those crucial years is often not as good as it should, or could be.
An overweight teenager is often not a happy person. It is often very difficult to make them realize that if they want to change it will take a considerable effort. Many are not able to make that commitment to change for a variety of reasons.
The most important thing is to break bad habits and that requires developing an awareness of what they are. Many of the bad habits will have been endorsed by upbringing. To go against this can be a challenge. What has been accepted as a family culture in terms of diet and exercise takes real resolve and determination to change.
To make a real and lasting difference it's not diets that are needed, but a more fundamental change in behaviour. The only really successful way to do this is to learn new habits, slim habits, that will enable lasting change to take place.

Functional ovarian cysts are a fairly common problem among women and should usually not be a cause for concern. Most ovarian cysts do not lead to or indicate cancer. Though some cysts may cause discomfort and others may require some treatment, the majority of functional ovarian cysts are asymptomatic and do not require treatment.
A follicular cyst is a simple type of ovarian cyst that can form when ovulation does not occur or when a mature follicle collapses on itself. It can grow to about 2.3 inches in diameter but usually produces no symptoms and disappears by itself after a few months.
An ovarian gland will produce progesterone during the ovulation portion of the monthly cycle of menstruation when the egg is released, and this is when a corpus luteum cyst could potentially develop. When a corpus luteum is healthy, it is approximately one inch in diameter, round in shape, and fluid filled. Corpus luteum cysts do not usually have noticeable symptoms. They can develop at the end of a menstrual cycle or early on during a pregnancy. Many of them do not require treatment, and, fortunately, disappear on their own.
A hemorrhagic cyst is a type of functional ovarian cyst that contains or releases blood. Though these cysts don't always burst, when they do burst they leak blood and cause a burning sensation across the pelvic area. However, hemorrhagic cysts are fairly common and do not normally require treatment. Doctors may surgically remove hemorrhagic cysts when they think it indicates the presence of endometriosis.
Women can develop dermoid cysts at any time and age, but dermoid cysts are a higher risk during the childbearing years. A dermoid cyst is one type of an ovarian cyst that grows from the totipotential germ cell in the ovaries. Tissues such as bone, teeth and hair can form from this ovarian cell. Dermoid cysts may contain solid physical tissue. Sometimes doctors find hair and teeth forming in these cysts. They are commonly removed because they may block the flow of blood to the ovaries.
Endometriosis and tumors are covered under pathological ovarian cysts. While rare, this type of ovarian cyst can only be properly diagnosed after a thorough exam by a doctor. Pathological ovarian cysts can be found in both their benign, non-cancerous form and malignant, cancerous forms. Quick treatment is the best solution once a tumor has been found being that they can be rather persistent, swollen and have a thick exterior's. The other end of the spectrum is the endometrioid cyst caused by endometriosis. Endometriosis is when a small piece of endometrial tissue bleeds, falls off and moves to the inside of the ovaries where it reattaches itself. The prime reproductive years in a womans life is when this generally happens, but pathological cysts are still much less common then functional cysts.
There are many different types of ovarian cysts and each type should be diagnosed and treated properly. Pathological ovarian cysts are less common than functional cysts, but women should speak to doctors about any cyst.

Prices for all kinds of goods are going up and individuals are trying to make the best use of their money. So many people have credit card or other debt and these price increases are not leaving much to pay the debts off with at the end of the month.
Managing your debt carefully can enable you to pay it off and avoid more serious financial problems like bankruptcy. The simple rules for managing debt are to write down each debt you owe, the total amount of debt owed and the total amount you can afford to pay each month.
To figure out how much you can afford to pay each creditor you need to start with how much money you are brining in. Write down exactly what you are spending your money on each month. You can use this information to create a budget.
The necessesities are things that you can't live without: heat, water, food, and shelter. Whatever is left over after these things are paid for is what is left to pay to your creditors. On your budget write down the minimum payment for each credit card or debt. These should be subtracted from your total budget.
After the minimum monthly payments have been calculated, you can see if you have money leftover. The leftover money should be applied to the smallest debt. After this one is paid in full continue paying the extra money to the smallest debt.
By planning a budget and sticking to it you can finally get your debt paid off in full. Making sure to pay the minimum monthly payment for each debt is extremely important to getting it all paid off and avoiding addtional fees.

Fashion for Women Who Are Not Super Models
The world of fashion has always tilted towards the super thin models we all see in magazines. When it came to women with more realistic sizes, the options were fairly limited. Well, no more. Today, fashion for full figured women is not a myth.
Curves are a beautiful thing. Looking like someone starving is not. Do not let pictures of rail thin women get you down. In truth, men love curves. The key is to emphasize your best elements with your outfits.
Traditionally, full figured women have often chosen shapeless clothes that hide their curves. Do not take this approach when buying clothes. It is not an appealing look. Your goal is to emphasize your strengths and minimize your liabilities.
The little black cocktail dress is the ultimate. For us fuller sized women, however, black is not a good color. It deemphasizes your curves, so avoid it. If you must wear it, try to restrict it to the lower parts of your body.
Pants can be a troubling area for plus size women. It should not be. Avoid easy fit pants. Instead, look for a size that is comfortable, but go with a style that has a straight or slightly flared leg. This will take the focus away from your hips.
Simplicity is also definitely a better way to go with your outfits. Buying clothes with designs on them creates an appearance with disjointed emphasis. Whenever possible, try to go with solid looks that have minor highlights.
If you think I am nuts and like the graphics, we can agree to disagree. There is a rule to follow in this situation, however. Generally, you want to try to match the size to your height. If you are short, go with smaller graphics.
Every woman has done this regardless of size. We have all bought clothes one size too small. Why? We are going to lose weight, of course. This approach is a mistake. Buy the right size. If you lose weight, hey, you can go shopping again.
Finding plus size clothing can be a problem as well. The best options are at stores that specialize in it. Online options like DivaBras.com are excellent and offer free shipping. Use them if there is not a specialty store in your area.
Do not shy away or be embarrassed by the fact you are a plus size women. There simply is not need. You have gorgeous curves and plenty of positive aspects. Be proud and buy clothes that emphasize your good points.
